Self clinching nut is a kind of nut applied to sheet metal or thin plate,it's shape is round, one end with embossed teeth and guide groove. The principle is to press the embossed teeth into the preset hole position of the sheet metal.Generally speaking, the diameter of the preset hole is slightly smaller than the embossed teeth of the self clinching nut, therefore, the embossed teeth of the self clinching nut are squeezed into the preset hole of the sheet metal by pressure,so that the surrounding area of the preset hole is plastically deformed, and the deformed material of the sheer metal is squeezed into the guiding grooves, and the locking effect can be produced. In this way ,the self clinching nut and the metal plate are tightly connected together.Self clinching nuts provide durable, long-lasting threads for sheet metal and other metal components, offering a fast, efficient and cost-effective installation solution.
